“I like some violence in my metal!” said American artist Jeff Kollman with a big smile when he swung by Roppongi Rocks.
While on a massive Japan tour with Japanese megastar Eikichi Yazawa, American guitarist Jeff Kollman sat on the Roppongi Rocks sofa to chat with Stefan Nilsson.
Jeff’s career achievements include performing with acts such as UFO, Michael Schenker Group, Mogg/Way, Glenn Hughes, Alan Parsons Live Project, ASIA Featuring John Payne, Lou Gramm, Chad Smith, Sebastian Bach, Cosmosquad, $ign of 4, Lyle Lovett, Eikichi Yazawa and many more.
He talked about playing bass for UFO and MSG, touring Japan, his career priorities, the difference between playing in others’ bands and doing his own thing, which musical genres he prefers as a musician and much more.
There is a cameo appearance by Dave Dufort (ex-Angel Witch, Tytan, EF Band, Mike Oldfield, Ian Hunter, Mick Ronson, David Bowie) during the interview.
