Video premiere: Liv Sin “Antihero”
Today, Sister Sin’s lead vocalist Liv Jagrell releases a new single and music video with her band Liv Sin.
Liv Sin continues to unveil hit songs from their upcoming album. This time, the band led by Sister Sin vocalist Liv Jagrell releases the digital single “Antihero”, a song with a strong rhythm, a fantastic build-up and a big earworm in the chorus. Another great sign that the upcoming Liv Sin album, produced by Simon Johansson (Wolf, Memory Garden) and Mike Wead (King Diamond, Mercyful Fate, Hexenhaus, Memento Mori), with mixing and mastering by Tue Madsen (Witchery, The Haunted, At The Gates, Artillery) will be another masterpiece.
“The song “Antihero” came to me after yet another mass shooting”, Jagrell tells about the theme of the song. “It is an imagery scenery of brutality and chaos, and the immense fear you go through when searching for a way out of that hell. I wonder what drives a person to do something like that, how someone can have so much anger and hate inside, but also I get surprised every time that nothing change, nothing happens. I’m a pacifist and I can’t really get my head around how the right to have a gun seems more important than human lives”.
A new Liv Sin album is expected to be released in early 2023 via Mighty Music.
In addition to Liv Jagrell on vocals, Live Sin consists of Per Bjevoluk (drums), Patrick Ankermark (guitar), Daniel Skoglund (bass) and Jay Matharu (lead guitar).
