Single review: Mötley Crüe “Dogs of War”
Mötley Crüe’s comeback single is utter tosh.
The fact that Mötley Crüe gave us many fabulous songs in the 80s makes this sad single even worse. It is an incoherent mish-mash of styles. Yes, John 5, who has replaced Mick Mars in the band, is a great guitar player. But he’s not the main songwriter here and there is nothing his guitar playing can do to save such a poorly composed song. This is Mötley trying to sound modern, edgy and relevant. The result is the opposite. It is lame. Not even Mötley’s diehard fans will like this tosh.
Mötley Crüe’s new single “Dogs of War” is out now.
