Video: Backstage interview with HammerFall’s Joacim Cans
HammerFall vocalist Joacim Cans sat down backstage with Roppongi Rocks at the Skogsröjet festival in Sweden to talk about the new album.
On Friday 2nd August 2024, HammerFall vocalist Joacim Cans sat down with Roppongi Rocks boss Stefan Nilsson. The backstage interview took place at the fantastic Skogsröjet festival in Rejmyre, Sweden. Joacim talked about “Avenge the Fallen”, the band’s 13th studio album. The new album will be released on 9th August 2024. “We play heavy metal and not power metal!” said Joacim. He explained that this is an album about freedom and hope. He also talked about HammerFall’s creative process and what is coming up after the album’s release.
Those with good eyesight can spot some of the artists walking by in the background during the interview. They include Zinny Zan (Easy Action, Zan Clan, Shotgun Messiah), Conny Bloom (Electric Boys), Henrik Danhage (Evergrey), Morgan Jensen (Swedish Erotica) and Lukas Axx (Velvet Queen).
