Video premiere: Toxaemia “Blood Red” | Swedish death metal
Today, Roppongi Rocks premieres “Blood Red”, the new single from Swedish death metal band Toxaemia.
Swedish death metal band Toxaemia worked with Dan Swanö to mix and master the new album “Rejected Souls of Kerberus” as both the band and the fans were extremely satisfied with the work he did on the previous record. Also, like last time, the Swedes have revisited two songs from the archives of their old demos: “Beyond the Realm” and “Tragedies Through Centuries”. The album also features the Dismember cover “I Saw Them Die”.
Despite Toxaemia having chosen more of a modern sound than the last album, the choice made it an overall heavier-sounding record. The band also wanted to ensure that they incorporated a lot of variation to give the record the extra edge it needed to top “Where Paths Divide”. In addition, friend and founding member Emil Norrman was brought back to the drumkit to add his own unique and very core Toxaemia sound into the mix.
The band consists of Pontus Cervin (bass), Stevo Bolgakov (guitar), Dennis Johansson (vocals), Anton Petrovic (guitar) and Emil Norrman (drums).
“Rejected Souls of Kerberus” will be released on 15th November via Emanzipation Productions.
