Video: Backstage interview with Raven in Tokyo

As NWOBHM band Raven celebrated half a century on the road, they had a backstage chat with Roppongi Rocks in Tokyo.

NWOBHM band Raven invited Roppongi Rocks’ Stefan Nilsson backstage for a chat before the band’s Tokyo gig on their 50^th anniversary tour. Raven members John Gallagher, Mark Gallagher and Mike Heller talked about being called “athletic rock”, their relationship to punk rock, touring with Metallica in 1983 and much more. The Gallagher brothers founded Raven in Newcastle, England in 1974. Mike Heller joined them on drums in 2017. Their most recent album, “All Hell’s Breaking Loose”, was released in 2023.
