Video: Interview with Seven Spires’ Adrienne Cowan in Tokyo

Roppongi Rocks brought Adrienne Cowan to the dark and empty grounds of a temple for a chat.

Adrienne Cowan has toured Japan before but not with her band, Seven Spires. Until now. As the Seven Spires tour reached Tokyo, Roppongi Rocks’ Stefan Nilsson brought Adrienne to the dark and empty grounds of a temple to ask her about the Japan tour, Avantasia, her voice, the band’s creative process and what’s coming up next for the band (Wacken!).

Adrienne is a fabulous vocalist best known for her work with her band Seven Spires and as one of the singers for Avantasia. She has also worked with Sascha Paeth’s Masters of Ceremony, Eluveitie and many other acts.

Seven Spires was formed in Boston in 2013 and has released four studio albums. The most recent album, “A Fortress Called Home”, was released by Frontiers Music in 2024.

The interview was filmed at Tenryuji Temple in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan on 6th December 2024.
